Why would you like to work for WESP?
WESP is a young and ambitious Dutch company with a unique position in the automotive industry. With its roots and HQ in the beautiful city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, WESP conquers the European market with unique business intelligence tools and an enthusiastic team of more than 25 professionals. WESP is characterized by a flat organization with an open and driven culture. Creating value for its customers is central to everyone within the organization. To further boost its continuous growth, WESP is now looking for a country manager in France.
What does WESP do?
At WESP, we believe in data-driven decision-making. To achieve this, WESP has developed unique business intelligence tools to collect, clean, standardize, and enrich retail market data for the automotive aftermarket. Our software applications transform heterogeneous workshop data into harmonized market information in line with industry standards, providing business insights, benchmarks, and data-driven decision-making.
Through a network of over 2.700 European workshops, WESP continuously collects after-sales market data. We receive repair information from workshops every week, encompassing parts information from more than 50 million invoices.
WESP’s data-driven dashboards, data deliveries, and APIs offer support to garages, wholesalers, and parts manufacturers in their daily operations, enabling them to continually improve their performance.
Are you our Country Manager?
As a Country Manager at WESP, you will work quite independently. You are responsible for achieving the targets for your country. Your job will be to provide both our Retail Support services, as well as to promote the Data Solutions side of WESP.
For the Retail Solutions side, you are mainly concerned with connecting (workshop) formulas and wholesale chains. The market for our Data Solutions is mainly on the manufacturers and wholesalers’ side of the automotive industry.
This role is a growing and developing function. Initially, you will take care of setting up and establishing the organisation in the country yourself. As responsible for the country, it is also your role (in the beginning) to visit potential WESP workshops yourself and connect them to our services.
Then you will scale up with consultants in the right mix. These consultants need to be trained, coached, developed, and managed.
Your responsibilities
• Responsible for the realisation of targets and plans set for the country.
• Managing, coordinating, and further developing WESP services in his country.
• Managing, coaching, and developing consultants with individual targets.
• Keeping track of goals, planning, and progress in order to inform colleagues.
• Expanding services with formulas, chains, and manufacturers.
• Retrieving data and providing analysis from workshops, networks, and manufacturers.
• Coordinating and organising the roll-out and providing legal and technical support.
• Ensuring an optimal balance in the deployment of people and resources driven by the budget.
• Working together with the internal organization, so that the WESP solutions continue to meet the wishes of our customers.
• From time to time, you visit workshops that are not yet connected in order to sell our solutions.
Your qualifications
• Knowledge of the Automotive industry, including the playing field of the aftersales market.
• Technical knowledge of cars, and it’s an advantage if you have experience with workshop processes.
• The understanding of how to run a business, so that you can empathize with the entrepreneur.
• Commercial ability: acting on opportunities in the market and estimating their commercial value; acting customer-oriented and forging the right relationships.
• Networking: developing and strengthening relationships and coalitions inside and outside the organisation and using these to obtain information, support, and cooperation.
• Result-oriented: Taking concrete and targeted actions to achieve or exceed objectives.
• Problem analysis: Identifying challenges, recognising important information, looking for relevant data, and making connections between them; performing root-cause analysis by challenges.
• Managing: Giving direction to employees in a result-oriented and motivating way; formulating goals and facilitating resources, monitoring progress, and correcting employees.
• Negotiating: Achieving optimal results in discussions with conflicting interests, both in terms of content and keeping the relationship healthy.
• Perseverance: staying the course even in the face of setbacks or market developments.
• You speak French and English.
We offer
• A competitive salary based on your knowledge and experience.
• Company car, phone allowance, and laptop.
• The chance to make a real difference for WESP and its customers.
• Working for a leading Business Intelligence company in the automotive sector.
